Everything You May Want To Know
Do I need a visa or any entry documents for Mexico? Most travelers do not need a visa to enter Mexico for tourism — this includes citizens of the EU, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and many countries in Latin America and Asia. If you hold a valid visa or residence permit for the USA, Canada, Schengen Zone, or Japan, you can also enter Mexico without a separate Mexican visa. Some nationalities do require either a tourist visa or an electronic travel authorization (ETIAS/ETA) before arrival. If you’re unsure whether you need a visa or an electronic permit, simply contact us — we’ll check the current requirements and provide up-to-date guidance for your specific passport.
Which airport should I fly into, and where do I depart from? The easiest way to arrive for our travel–retreat is to fly into Cancún International Airport (CUN). From there, a private transfer will take you directly to our beachfront boutique hotel — smooth, comfortable, and fully arranged for you. There is also a new airport in the region — Tulum International Airport (TQO) — located about 1.5 hours from the hotel. If you choose to arrive there, we will gladly organize a private transfer as well. Wherever you land, we’ll make sure your journey continues with ease, support, and care from the very first moment.
What should I pack for this travel retreat? For this journey, you’ll want to pack light and feel comfortable: Comfortable walking shoes — we’ll explore towns, ruins, and nature. Sandals or flip-flops for the beach and cenotes. Light, breathable clothing — T-shirts, shorts, dresses, activewear for yoga. Swimwear and a quick-dry towel for cenotes and the sea. 300–400 USD in cash for personal expenses, tips, snacks, or small souvenirs. A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. Sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses — the Caribbean sun is strong. Please avoid bringing valuable items you don’t need — travel light, safe, and free.
How reliable is the internet, and what plugs does Mexico use? Staying connected in Mexico is easy. The country has good mobile coverage, and you’ll find Wi-Fi in most cafés, restaurants, and public spaces. Our boutique hotel also provides free Wi-Fi, so you can stay online whenever you need. Mexico uses flat U.S.-style plugs (Type A/B). If your devices use a different type, please bring a travel adapter — it will make charging simple and seamless throughout your stay.
Can I join the retreat alone if I’m traveling solo? Absolutely — most participants join this retreat solo. Many people come with the intention to reset, reconnect with themselves, and meet like-minded travelers — and our small, supportive circle makes it feel natural and safe from the very first day. Accommodation is based on shared twin rooms. If you’re coming alone, we’ll thoughtfully pair you with a same-gender roommate so you feel comfortable and at ease. And if you prefer more privacy, you can request a private room — just let us know, and we’ll arrange it for you.
When should I arrive, and when should I plan my return flight? We recommend arriving in Cancún International Airport (CUN) by midday on Day 1. This gives you enough time to settle in, enjoy the hotel, and join our evening opening practice feeling grounded and relaxed. For your return, it’s best to book your flight after 2PM on the final day. This allows for a calm morning, breakfast by the sea, and an unhurried private transfer back to the airport.
What Makes This Travel Retreat Different? This isn’t a typical travel tour — and it’s not a traditional retreat either. It’s a carefully curated blend of slow travel, mindful exploration, and inner connection. You’ll discover the real Mexico — its nature, its history, its spirit — while moving at a pace that allows you to breathe, feel, and truly arrive. Every element of the journey has been designed with intention, care, and authenticity: from the gentle morning yoga to the sacred ceremonies, from the cenotes and catamaran days to the quiet moments of rest. This experience is created not to overwhelm you, but to nourish you — to help you soften, reset, and return to your own rhythm. To feel alive again.
Do I need experience in yoga, meditation or anything else? How physically intense is the retreat? Not at all. You don’t need to “be spiritual”, bend like a pretzel, or have any background in healing work. This retreat meets you where you are. Yes, we’ll hike. Yes, we’ll breathe and move. But always at a pace that honors your body. Think soft strength, not performance. You can rest, skip, or adapt any activity — no guilt, no pressure.
What if I have questions or doubts before booking? If you feel the call to join us but still have questions, we’re here for you.
