Who This Retreat Is For and Why Mexico?

This travel-retreat is designed for those who crave more than just a vacation.
It’s for anyone seeking genuine connection and experiences that nourish the body, mind, and soul.

Mexico is a land where ancient wisdom and wild beauty breathe through everyday life. Here, sacred cenotes whisper stories of the Earth, cacao awakens the heart, and the ocean invites you to cleanse your energy and feel reborn.
It’s a place of deep roots and open skies, where Mayan tradition, natural abundance, and human warmth meet.

This land doesn’t just welcome you — it transforms you.

DAY 1
Arrival & Soft Landing

property

Arrival at Cancún or Tulum International Airport, followed by a private transfer to an exclusive beachfront boutique hotel on the Caribbean Sea.
Time to settle in and gently transition into the rhythm of the retreat. Guests are welcome to enjoy optional SPA treatments, designed to restore the body and ease the nervous system after travel.

As the sun begins to set, we gather for a gentle yoga practice and sunset meditation on the beach - a soft opening ritual to arrive fully, release the journey, and reconnect with yourself in this new space.

DAY 2. Wildlife:
Monkeys & Turtles

monkey

The morning opens with a sunrise yoga practice at our oceanfront hotel, followed by a relaxed breakfast overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

A private excursion takes us to Akumal, where dense jungle landscapes give way to luminous coastal waters. We visit the Monkey Sanctuary to meet rescued monkeys in a setting centered on care, respect, and conservation. We enter the calm waters of Akumal Bay for a guided snorkeling experience, sharing the space with sea turtles, coral formations, and colorful marine life.

A day shaped by stillness, natural beauty, and quietly extraordinary moments.

DAY 3
Isla Mujeres: Island of Women

isla-mujeres

The morning begins with a gentle yoga practice at our oceanfront hotel, followed by a relaxed breakfast overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

The remainder of the day is intentionally left open. This is time to move at your own pace — to wander through Playa del Carmen, explore curated boutiques, pause in a quiet café, or simply settle into a beach club and enjoy the warmth of the Caribbean sun.

Optional Experience: A full-day catamaran journey to Isla Mujeres. Sail across turquoise waters, enjoy a leisurely onboard lunch and open bar, snorkel in clear Caribbean seas, and spend time at Playa Norte - widely regarded as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

DAY 4
Valladolid & Chichén Itzá

mila

The morning opens with a gentle yoga practice at our oceanfront hotel, followed by breakfast overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

We then travel inland to the colonial town of Valladolid, a place where time moves more slowly and history remains deeply present. Our journey continues to Chichén Itzá — one of the New Seven Wonders of the World — where ancient Mayan knowledge, architecture, and cosmology reveal themselves through stone and space.

We visit the sacred cenote Ik Kil, a natural sanctuary long revered by the Maya, before returning to Valladolid to wander its colorful streets and local markets, absorbing the rhythm and character of this historic town.

In the evening, we return to the hotel, carrying the impressions of the day back to the coast.

DAY 5
Xcaret Park

xcaret

The morning begins with a gentle yoga practice at our oceanfront hotel, followed by breakfast overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

We then spend the day at Xcaret — Mexico’s renowned ecological and cultural sanctuary, set between jungle and ocean. Here, we move through a landscape of natural and cultural richness: floating along clear subterranean rivers, walking shaded jungle paths, and exploring thoughtfully recreated Mayan villages, sacred spaces, and traditional workshops that preserve centuries of craftsmanship and living heritage.

As evening falls, we experience Xcaret México Espectacular — the world-famous night performance that weaves together music, ritual, and history, offering a powerful expression of Mexico’s spirit and soul.

DAY 6
Coba & Tulum

coba

The morning opens with a gentle yoga practice at our oceanfront hotel, followed by breakfast overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

We then journey into the heart of the Riviera Maya. Our day begins at the ancient ruins of Cobá, where towering jungle pyramids and quiet forest paths invite a deeper encounter with the Mayan world and its enduring mysteries.

From there, we continue to the iconic ruins of Tulum, dramatically set above the turquoise sea and shaped by the constant rhythm of the Caribbean breeze — a place where history and landscape exist in perfect balance.

The day concludes at a refined Tulum beach club, with time to unwind on white sand, swim in clear waters, and settle into the relaxed, bohemian spirit of the coast.

DAY 7
Cenotes & Temazcal

cenote

The morning begins with a gentle yoga practice at our oceanfront hotel, followed by breakfast overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

We then travel to the Ruta de los Cenotes, entering a hidden landscape of freshwater caves and jungle pathways. Throughout the day, we swim in crystal-clear cenotes, experiencing the stillness and vitality of these sacred natural spaces.

A simple picnic lunch and quiet time in nature offer space to rest, integrate, and be fully present.

As evening approaches, we gather in the jungle for a traditional Temazcal ceremony, a sacred steam ritual guided by ancestral practice, centered on purification, release, and renewal.

Water and fire. Cleansing, letting go, and returning to your natural flow.

DAY 8
Cacao Ceremony

The morning opens with a gentle yoga practice at our oceanfront hotel, followed by breakfast overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

The rest of the morning is intentionally unstructured. Time to rest, walk along the beach, and gently integrate the impressions of the previous day’s Temazcal ceremony. Unhurried moments for journaling, quiet reflection, meaningful connection, or simply listening to the rhythm of the sea.

In the evening, we gather for a cacao ceremony accompanied by sound healing — a soothing closing experience designed to open the heart, harmonize the body, and bring the journey to a calm, grounded completion.

Why You Can Trust Us?

This is not a travel agency itinerary.
It is a signature journey, personally curated and guided by Mila B.

Mila B. was born in Siberia and spent more than a decade building a successful international legal career, holding two degrees in law and legal translation. Alongside this professional path, yoga and travel remained a quiet but constant presence — a deeper calling that eventually shaped her life’s direction.

Leaving the legal field, Mila moved abroad and immersed herself fully in conscious living. She studied yoga in India, earned the highest level of certification (RYT 500), and later became a teacher trainer. Over the years, she has led retreats in Mexico, worked alongside shamans, facilitated sacred ceremonies, and created grounded, transformative spaces through movement, breathwork, and meditation.

Today, Mila lives in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. She knows these lands intimately: their rhythms, traditions, hidden places, and everyday local life. This lived connection allows her to guide journeys not as a visitor, but as someone who truly belongs here, sharing insights and local knowledge rarely accessible to travelers.

Her deep bond with Latin America gave rise to BeING - an ecosystem devoted to conscious travel, natural living, and a soulful global community.

This retreat is Mila’s personal project. She is present with the group throughout the entire journey - holding space, guiding practices, translating, supporting, and attending to every detail.
It is not a trip she organizes from afar.
It is a journey she walks with you.

Everything You May Want To Know

Do I need a visa or any entry documents for Mexico? Most travelers do not need a visa to enter Mexico for tourism — this includes citizens of the EU, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and many countries in Latin America and Asia. If you hold a valid visa or residence permit for the USA, Canada, Schengen Zone, or Japan, you can also enter Mexico without a separate Mexican visa. Some nationalities do require either a tourist visa or an electronic travel authorization (ETIAS/ETA) before arrival. If you’re unsure whether you need a visa or an electronic permit, simply contact us — we’ll check the current requirements and provide up-to-date guidance for your specific passport.

Which airport should I fly into, and where do I depart from? The easiest way to arrive for our travel–retreat is to fly into Cancún International Airport (CUN). From there, a private transfer will take you directly to our beachfront boutique hotel — smooth, comfortable, and fully arranged for you. There is also a new airport in the region — Tulum International Airport (TQO) — located about 1.5 hours from the hotel. If you choose to arrive there, we will gladly organize a private transfer as well. Wherever you land, we’ll make sure your journey continues with ease, support, and care from the very first moment.

What should I pack for this travel retreat? For this journey, you’ll want to pack light and feel comfortable: Comfortable walking shoes — we’ll explore towns, ruins, and nature. Sandals or flip-flops for the beach and cenotes. Light, breathable clothing — T-shirts, shorts, dresses, activewear for yoga. Swimwear and a quick-dry towel for cenotes and the sea. 300–400 USD in cash for personal expenses, tips, snacks, or small souvenirs. A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. Sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses — the Caribbean sun is strong. Please avoid bringing valuable items you don’t need — travel light, safe, and free.

How reliable is the internet, and what plugs does Mexico use? Staying connected in Mexico is easy. The country has good mobile coverage, and you’ll find Wi-Fi in most cafés, restaurants, and public spaces. Our boutique hotel also provides free Wi-Fi, so you can stay online whenever you need. Mexico uses flat U.S.-style plugs (Type A/B). If your devices use a different type, please bring a travel adapter — it will make charging simple and seamless throughout your stay.

Can I join the retreat alone if I’m traveling solo? Absolutely — most participants join this retreat solo. Many people come with the intention to reset, reconnect with themselves, and meet like-minded travelers — and our small, supportive circle makes it feel natural and safe from the very first day. Accommodation is based on shared twin rooms. If you’re coming alone, we’ll thoughtfully pair you with a same-gender roommate so you feel comfortable and at ease. And if you prefer more privacy, you can request a private room — just let us know, and we’ll arrange it for you.

When should I arrive, and when should I plan my return flight? We recommend arriving in Cancún International Airport (CUN) by midday on Day 1. This gives you enough time to settle in, enjoy the hotel, and join our evening opening practice feeling grounded and relaxed. For your return, it’s best to book your flight after 2PM on the final day. This allows for a calm morning, breakfast by the sea, and an unhurried private transfer back to the airport.

What Makes This Travel Retreat Different? This isn’t a typical travel tour — and it’s not a traditional retreat either. It’s a carefully curated blend of slow travel, mindful exploration, and inner connection. You’ll discover the real Mexico — its nature, its history, its spirit — while moving at a pace that allows you to breathe, feel, and truly arrive. Every element of the journey has been designed with intention, care, and authenticity: from the gentle morning yoga to the sacred ceremonies, from the cenotes and catamaran days to the quiet moments of rest. This experience is created not to overwhelm you, but to nourish you — to help you soften, reset, and return to your own rhythm. To feel alive again.

Do I need experience in yoga, meditation or anything else? How physically intense is the retreat? Not at all. You don’t need to “be spiritual”, bend like a pretzel, or have any background in healing work. This retreat meets you where you are. Yes, we’ll hike. Yes, we’ll breathe and move. But always at a pace that honors your body. Think soft strength, not performance. You can rest, skip, or adapt any activity — no guilt, no pressure.
